ED Visits via video
I am wondering if anyone has experience with video visits in the ED setting. Our Medical Group would like to implement a "fast lane" for lower acuity patients presenting to the ED would be triaged by nursing (in person) and then with the nurses support, be seen by an ED provider (via video).
I know this was done at NY Presbyterian/Weill Cornell but have been unsuccessful at getting in contact with this entity. Any tips or connections to this entity would also be appreciated. Here is the hyperlink to the article regarding Weill Cornell's program: Telehealth EMRA
With the current approach to "telehealth" and the relaxations expected to come to an end in the near future, any considerations for sunsetting this approach if it was implemented during the PHE. Or were you successful in doing this prior to the PHE.
