Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T NCD Updates
There are a few updates people providing these services should be aware of...but often the spreadsheets with the codes and the updated info is hard to find or sleuth out. CMS has been made aware of both the coverage issues (not allowing outpatient transplant for MDS patients - oops...but that's now been fixed and limiting clinician donor sources, all now fixed) and the fact that its Excel files with the dx and procedure codes, and the rule updates are all but impossible to find. Good news, you can access all of the latest NCD spreadsheets (even beyond SCT and CAR-T) here:
