How are others charging for visits on the hospital side when a patient sees two providers with different specialties at the same time in the same room? Are there two technical EM/consults charged or only one since the patient is remaining in the same room and seeing both providers at the same time?

    Same room and the same time? I would bill one G)463. Now two different rooms to see two different docs? Register separately and use Condition code G0 and modifier 27
