Making the case for a physician advisor program in behavioral health
We currently have a physician advisor program for acute services and would like to propose an expansion to behavioral health services. Has your organization proposed this, or do you have it in place for behavioral health, and would you be willing to share information on the success of the program? I'm interested in any demonstrated success for reduction in LOS and discharge management, as we attempt to estimate what improvement we can expect by expanding our program.
