FY Modifier with IR Imaging Procedure
Would you append the FY modifier for an IR procedure if performed with CR (Computed radiology technology/cassette-based imaging) the CPT 7XXXX would receive the FY modifier only and not the surgical code 1XXXX to 6XXXX…… correct? I highly doubt this would occur, but it did cross my mind. Thoughts?
