Mobile cardiovascular telemetry (MCT) professional read 93228 and DOS
Can anyone share their experience with this billing issue - we have patients in ED, OBSV and even INPT in which the MCT is applied upon discharge however the interpretation is not completed until 30 days later. How are you billing the read - 1. On a separate account # with the DOS it was read? 2. Are you billing it on the ED, OBSV ect on the DOS it was applied? We are having a real issue with the read occurring days/weeks later in this scenario. Any advise?
