Appropriate Use Criteria for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging
In the CY 2018 OPPS and MPFS
Final Rules CMS discussed holding stakeholder meetings in order to get input on
the unique identifier that would be reported on the furnishing professional and
the facility claim to show that the order provider did consult the CDSM.
We have not seen anything further from CMS around discussions/meetings.
Can you tell us the best way to stay involved and perhaps provide provider input into the decision making process, other than writing to CMS?
We would love to be involved in any discussion NAHRI has on the topic as we watch for further guidance from CMS and discuss operationalizing any final decision made.
