Prolonged Services without direct Face-to-Face contact.
The providers in our physician practice would like to start billing for Prolonged Services without direct Face-to-Face contact. Our service lines include cllinic, SNF, assisted living, long term care and hospice. This is something they already do, but they are not being reimbursed for their time.
Where can I find more guidance for using CPT codes 99358 and 99359?
